This Lenten season has been such a gift —

getting to share resources that I truly believe will leave a mark on the hearts of children we love.

As a book influencer, this is one of my favorite things to do. And honestly? It’s personal for me.

I grew up immersed in Jesus. Sunday school, Bible studies, Christian schooling — faith was poured into me from every direction. I wasn’t perfect. I’ve had seasons of stubbornness, sinful patterns the Holy Spirit had to break, and real battles with my faith in my 20s. But I never forgot what was planted in me. The Word, prophetic words, and prayers lifted on my behalf always brought me back to our Savior’s arms. As I’ve matured, I’ve surrendered, and I live a life of repentance and pursuit of God.

That journey is exactly why I’m passionate about getting faith resources into the hands of little ones early.

Here’s what I’m sharing today:

📖 Jesus, Our True Friend — seven stories from Jesus’ life by Sally Lloyd-Jones & Jago, filled with the good news and the deep, rescuing love of Immanuel.

🎨 Hey-O! Coloring Book — 90+ pages of Bible story coloring fun with tear-out pages for easy display. Creative, faith-building, and kids love it.

The Glorious Image of God — a beautiful way to help children understand they carry God’s image, building spiritual identity and God-given self-worth.

🤍 Deep Breath, Little Whisper — a sweet introduction to breath prayers, reminding kids that every praise, thank-you, and whispered request matters to their Heavenly Father.

My final thoughts

After having some time with these resources, these are my takeaways and why I recommend each of them!

Jesus, Our True FriendI love this book for its storybook-style narrative, which makes it simple for little hearts to follow along and learn about their Lord and Savior!

Hey-O! Coloring BookI appreciate the uniqueness of this coloring book. Each page is related to a Bible story and features a significant quote. This is a must-have for times when you want to read scripture to a child while keeping them engaged in the story. As they color the picture, the story comes to life before their eyes. It’s a must-have coloring book for teachable moments.

The Glorious Image of GodBeautiful illustrations and poetic storytelling make this children’s book stand out in any collection. It carries foundational teachings about the image of God and our worth.

Deep Breath, Little WhisperI give this book 5 stars for how it simplifies prayer for children by presenting everyday scenarios and quiet breath prayers that glorify God in response!
