Kid’s Adventure Bible & Daily Devotional
NIV Bible Translation
A Bible for Kids
I truly believe that a child who experiences and takes to the Bible well depends on how the Word is presented. Children often enjoy books with illustrations that bring the story to life. Articles, fun facts, maps, activities, and character profiles enrich a child’s time spent reading. I recently received the Kid’s Adventure Bible & Daily Devotional in exchange for my honest review. When I received these resources, I was immediately taken in by the creative and colorful presentation. As I flipped through the Bible, I was pleased to see all the features, which included the articles and activities I mentioned. I immediately knew why this kid’s Bible is a #1 bestseller in full-text Bibles for kids. It isn’t simply black and white. It has many moments that personally pique my interest as I flip through. The Adventure Bible is used by more churches, schools, and homes than any other Bible for kids. It is definitely accessible and fun, taking children on a journey through God’s Word. Interesting biblical people, places, and events are just a few of the things readers of the Kid’s Adventure Bible learn. Also, I cannot forget that it opens the door to learning about God’s love.
A companion daily devotional
Now, daily devotionals deliberately position us to meditate on an area of scripture each day. Many adults, let alone children, have busy schedules. The Kid’s Adventure Bible Daily Devotional is one I find perfect for young people who want to make time for the Word, whether alone, during Sunday school, before school, or in the evening with family. Each devotional includes a Bible verse, perfect for opening the Bible and reading the entire chapter, or for reading before and after the verse for a deeper, Holy Spirit-led study. With this resource, kids enjoy 365 undated devotionals tackling topics faced every day, like self-esteem, courage, friendship, and more. Each daily devotional is one page and includes a Scripture verse, thoughtful reflection, and practical takeaway.

My final thoughts
After having some time to test these resources, I can confidently recommend each of them for helping kids learn about the Bible, connect with God, grow in their faith, and take action as young soldiers for Christ. I believe they would work magnificently together, but either one can be used just as well.
As you enjoy this Lenten season and soon prepare for Resurrection Sunday, consider the Kids’ Adventure resources for your little ones’ Easter baskets.
