About the Book

Sometimes moms have the thought, “I’ll be a better mom tomorrow…” but this time never comes, and they question the quality of the mother they are. ‘Moms of the Bible’ is a women’s non-fiction book that explores the scriptures for lessons from moms of the Bible, who navigated motherhood and learned from the ups and downs of life. In this book, you will find moms of various backgrounds and types. Failure, faith, and hope are just a few of the attributes that describe them. Among the mothers you will read about are Rahab, Herodias, Hannah, Eve, and several more. Prepare for insights and powerful applications that will help moms raise children who impact their generation with fearless faith. Sit with author Rhonda Stoppe as she engages you with the warmth and wisdom of a trusted friend with personal experience. She speaks to mothers of all ages and stages, including stepmothers, adoptive mothers, foster mothers, and grandmothers raising grandchildren. Mom of the Bible is a thorough exploration of the sacred ministry of motherhood.

My Personal Thoughts & Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rhonda Stoppe writes biblically grounded, literate retellings and explorations of various mothers in the Bible in ‘Moms of the Bible.’ Her work teaches fearless faith, finding hope, wisdom, and discernment from Jesus, which I find invaluably encouraging.

There are several features to this book that make it a five-star recommendation.

– An appendix that details how to have a relationship with Jesus. Perfect for unbelievers who pick up the book.

– Life lessons with questions and prompts at the end of each chapter.

– Thorough person breakdowns and observations about each mom of the Bible who is discussed.

– Frameworks throughout the book.

– An author video series with heartfelt lessons from Rhonda Stoppe for each chapter.

Finally, I love how this resource presents motherhood as a ministry that extends over generations. I not only recommend it to moms, but also to women who are believing for motherhood in their future. It is a true exploration of the moms of the Bible who were fearless, flawed, and faithful. A very realistic and timely resource.
